The model was stitched on linen overdyed to a shade of Woodsmoke by Tabby Cat Linen.

Georgianas monochrome sampler has been reproduced and stitched with Soie 100.3 from Au Ver Soie, and we have included below conversions for Soie dAlger (SDA) and DMC. We have used Soie 100.3 #774 which is a slightly mellowed black. You might prefer to stitch with Noir for a bolder look.

Soie 100.3 #774 or #Noir ~ 1 strand on 40 to 56ct, 1 spool. SDA #Noir ~ 1 strand on 36 to 46ct, 1 skein; 2 strands on 36ct, 2 skeins; 2 strands on 28 to 32ct, 4 skeins. DMC #310 ~ 1 strand on 40 to 46ct, 1 skein; 2 strands on 36ct, 2 skeins; 2 strands on 28 to 32ct, 3 skeins.
