Silk Linen, also referred to as Silk Matka, is a distinctive, medium-weight 100% silk fabric. Matka, defined, means “rough, hand-loomed” and originates from a thick yarn. It has a “knobby” linen texture. The Magenta Silk Linen (Matka) Fabric is ideal for sewing and is used by interior designers for upholstery, drapery, while fashion designers create suits, jackets and blazers with this versatile fabric. The fabric is sold by the Yard, and measures 44/54 inches in width.
